2017-09-30 - Microcystin Water Test Results

On Monday September 25 ,2017 we collected samples from lakes 1 & 2 to test for toxin levels. Lake 1 tested at 0.282µg/L and lake 2 tested at 0.508µg/L. Drinking water standard is 1.50µg/L and recreational standard is 20.0µg/L.
We recommend that people who are using the lake for recreational purposes do not swim or allow your children or pets to play in areas that have a visible algae scum. We do not recommend that anyone use the Lake as a drinking water souce.
This will be the final toxin test for this year.
